The 1000 series dual bladder is only found in the Aegean soft side waterbed and is made from 24 Mil premium vinyl with a Molded Conch Shell Design top. This unique molded top allows for a greatest surface area, allowing you to take better advantage of the medical benefits of water. What makes the 1000 series bladder unique is its 10- layer mid-body support system, which are 10 layers of resin treated loft fiber designed to help reduce water motion. These layers of fiber catch water as your body displaces it, and don't allow it to move throughout the bladder- creating a 100% waveless sleeping environment! This bladder is dual chambered and has a built-in thermal divider to make sure one chamber's temperature is not affected by the other's. You can have your side of the bed set to your temperature preference and your partner can set their side to their preference-blanket squabbles solved! The 1000 series bladder also has a thermal resistant black bottom. Both of these features allow for the most precise temperature control; giving you the most consistent sleeping conditions every night.
The bladder is bordered by Hi-Density reinforced poly foam rails and protected from leaking by a vinyl fluid support layer. The 1000 series bladder also has reinforced corners and 4-way Hook and Eyelet Tethered Support System found nowhere else on the market. This tethered support system ensures that your bladder will not bunch in hard-to-reach areas at the bottom of the cavity. A burp air release valve allows your bladder to be filled to maximum capacity.
The Aegean softside waterbed comes with Thermal Guardian Touch Temp Digital temperature control. This advanced temperature control system helps you find your optimal sleeping temperature and keep it there permanently.
The Aegean waterbed has a designer PetMe™ 4" reversible cover that is composed of 1.5" Latex foam, 1.5" 4 lb, 13 ILD visco-elastic Memory Foam and 1" of Quiltflex material. The Latex and Memory foam are conveniently located on either side of the pillowtop allowing you to change between a slightly softer (Memory foam) or firmer (Latex foam) feel whenever you want! The designer PetMeTM cover is made from cotton and wool stretch knit ticking material. This material whisks away moisture and is extremely breathable, allowing you to garner the full benefits of the memory and latex foams.
Our solid deck foundation is made from the finest kiln-dried wood, fully capable of supporting your fluid support system. A masonite top is made from super compressed materials and offers a smooth platform for your waterbed to rest on.
